My friend Pam did a great job on her version of the Strip Twist. This quilt was made for the daughter of her co-worker. Pam let me add a couple of borders to bring this beauty up to 100 x 100. I hope the new couple enjoys this for many years!
I am always hollering "Dibs" for Pam's scraps, these are beautiful materials, I can't wait till some trickle down to me!I quilted the top with an old wedding bells and hearts pattern that I got from my friend and mentor Helen. I am sure she would have been pleased to see one of her favorite patterns get used for such a special occasion. Helen has been gone for several years and I miss getting to show her what I am working on.
