Pufferfish with castle

Changed my mind on the background blue. Didn't want to do do grey on the castle. Fantasy fish, almost as much fun as fantasy flowers!

Glass on glass goldfish

Brother in law picked up a small table and a couple glass circles at an auction. I love the end of sales where the whole area of items sell together. He kept what he wanted and I called dibs on the glass .

I am working on a set of wonky fish to go on the back of our aquarium.  This goldfish was made from the scrap pile.

I am still having problems cutting curves. Looks like my mosaic projects are going to be primitive for awhile.

Glass flower mosaic done for now

 Done and hung!

My first art piece for the loafing shed yard. I may decide to gift it later. For now it for my eyes to enjoy. Tomorrow morning, looking forward to a hot cup of coffee and my first look at the sun showing off the flowers.

Mystery glass buddy.

So our south acreage use to be part of the town dump.  Sometimes after a rain or after mowing a stray bottle will start to resurface. Imagine my surprise today when I discovered this unearthed treasure.  Thank you to our groundhog for creating such a beautiful yard art scene. I picked through and found several unbroken bottles. I will gather them up later when I remember to bring a bucket.

I think my broken glass collection is going to start growing.

Piles to go.

I am a cluttered individual.
If you have met me, you have seen some of the layers.
I am continuously sorting myself out.
My one truth to hold on too is: I am not as bad as my scrap piles!
I don't compare my totes to yours.
I just know that the more I  reclaim, recycle, reuse, repurpose, and all the other "re's" in my reportoire,  I still have piles and piles to go.

Snake quilt story

A friend asked me to make a snake quilt for her brother.  Sure no problem. A year later with a 30 day dead line I get started. Print an image to consider.

Looks fun and I can get creative with fabric choices.
