Corn for the veggie 4 piece ensemble

The other veggies in this series have a bit of bling. Glasses for the carrot, etc... Any way, this piece is on hold untill I decide on the embellishment. Considering pop corn necklace and ear rings or candy corn, or maybe a  men's red bow tie. That would be corny!

Baby quilt from the dads t-shirts

I was asked if I could do anything with just a few t-shirts.

I used a purple fleece for the back. Straihht seams were zig-zag quilted to secure them from future wear. The open areas were tied with embroidery thread to give the quilt a puffy feel.  42 x 48 keepsake.

Blue Skies and Rainbows

Painting and doodling one of my favorite songs.

I embellished a canvas board that  grand daughter, Breely painted a rainbow on. She had clouds at the bottom of her rainbow that I painted over to add the house and grass.

Total kitchen cabinet clean out

Everything cleaned out, sorted and I love it.
Sarah spent the day with me. Lunch at Mazzio salad bar. She is tough, a lot of things didn't make it back on the shelves. Three boxes for thrift shop. I am embarrassed to admit how many bags of trash. I did sneak back in some favorite coffee cups.

The best thing we did was clean out the corner cabinet and use it for appliances. Everything is a eye level.

I was bad about stuffing it so full I couldn't find anything.

My small appliances were getting lost in the bottom corner cabinet. Now i have a spare set of dishes taking up the corner. A couple of baskets hold seldom used specialty items. No need to bend over and search for anything. Pull out the basket and tada!

2 quilted for evelyn

Alice quilted this antique mall find.  I love the setting to this scrappy 9 patch.

I used the same quilt patten with an addition of guitars in the corner borders for Evelyns guitar fabric quilt.

Black and white and red/read all over

I like to name my quilts. I really like to add words or sayings to them. This a work in orogress.  Eveyone eventually make a black and white quilt. This is mine so far.
